I welcome early morning with a freshly made spice-infused tea (chai) and a divinely inspired song for 30 minutes. The power of this habit cleanses my powerhouse as eternal God touches my heart crystal clearly through these songs.
How did this habit originate? It is the story of a home culture. I was raised in a typical Indian home where there was a mixture of love and discipline. A mother loaded with love and a father living a disciplined lifestyle is the memory of my home. One of the top memory of my home is my dad playing Christian songs all the time in the morning. The strength of this home culture has inspired me to renew my heart every morning, carrying a vast collection of songs in my memory since childhood. It is a joy to share a spiritual discipline that has blessed me over the years, giving me a blissful start and setting the tone for the day.
